Bedtime follows the last nap

A baby's bedtime is not really a clock time; it is a wake window after the last nap of the day. This tool adds a typical wind-down window for the age to your last-wake time, so bedtime moves sensibly with the day.

Watch for the tired cues

The window is a guide. If your baby is yawning, going quiet or rubbing their eyes before it, settle them. An overtired baby is harder to put down, so it is usually better to err early.
